2021 Fall Harvest Tips

The 2021 season has been extremely dry and as a result the Fire Dept would like to provide you with a few tips for the upcoming season.

  • Start with clean Harvest equipment and clean daily using compressed air or a leaf blower.
  • Check your fire extinguisher and ensure it is operational and still charged.
  • Install a pressurized water extinguisher on your combine.
  • Install a spade or shovel on your combine
  • Ensure a piece of tillage equipment is ready and available for use.
  • Fill your water tank and have ready for use.

There are other things a person could do to protect your equipment and property, if you have any questions, please contact any fire dept member.

Thank you
