NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT in accordance with the Public Notice Policy Bylaw adopted by the Rural Municipality of Hoodoo No, 401 in accordance with the Municipalities Act, the following items will be discussed by the Council of the Rural Municipality of Hoodoo No. 401 at the meeting to be held at 8:00 am on June 10, 2020 at the Cudworth Senior Citizens Recreation Center at 216 Main Street in Cudworth,

  1. Borrowing of Money through Conexus Credit Union

Notice of Preparation of Assessment Roll

Notice is hereby given that the Assessment Roll for the Rural Municipality of Hoodoo No. 401 for the year 2020 has been prepared and is open for inspection in the office of the Assessor from 9:00 am to noon and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday May 21, 2020 to July 22, 2020.

A bylaw pursuant to Section 214 of the Municipalities Act has been passed and the assessment notices have been sent as required.

Any person who wishes to appeal against his or her assessment or clarification is required to file his or her notice of appeal, accompanied by a $50.00 appeal fee which will be returned if the appeal is successful, with: The Assessor, RM of Hoodoo No. 401, Box 250 Cudworth, Sask. S0K 1B0 by the 22nd day of July, 2020

Water Stations FOB Update

The RM of Hoodoo is going to a FOB system instead of a password for Pump 1 and Pump 2 for potable water

THE FOB SYSTEM WILL BE ACTIVATED ON MAY 12TH   And AT THAT TIME YOUR PASSWORD WILL NOT WORK FOR PUMP 1 AND PUMP 2

PLEASE EMAIL: rm401@sasktel.net with your name and your email address. This is needed to set up the FOBS.

We are only accepting this information by email or by mail.

We are not able to set up your FOB without an email address.

Only 1 FOB per address.

The FOBS will be mailed to you and a $30.00 charge will be added to your next water bill. More information will be included with the mailing of the FOBS.

SMOKE DETECTORS BATTERIES & ALARM COMPANIES

The Fire Chiefs have asked that everyone be advised:

Please notify your alarm company when you are changing the batteries in your smoke detectors. Changing batteries will set off your alarm and the alarm company will call 911 on your behalf.

if the Fire Department responds to the 911 call there will be the minimum charge of $1000.00 to the home owner

COVID 19 Update

The R.M. Office, shops and buildings are closed to the public until further notice. Staff are continuing to work and may be reached by phone, mail and email. There is a mailbox on the ramp at the R.M. Office in Cudworth if you wish to drop off information, it will be checked daily during the week .
Payments may be made by etransfers, teleplay (Credit Union), and by cheque. Payment for taxes through a system similar to TIPPS will be in place in the future.

Council Meetings will be held at the Cudworth Senior’s Centre to meet the requirements of social distancing and a maximum of 10 people will be allowed at any one time in the room. Options are being looked at to allow public participation to meet the requirements of the Municipality Act and follow the COVID 19 Minister’s Order

Municipal Services:

Please sanitize any surfaces you may touch at the water stations and community well. Practice social distancing at all facilities.
